The Friends of the Rosie Hospital are helping to make the Rosie a more comfortable environment for mothers and babies. If you have any toy stuffing or yarn we are in urgent need of your donation. For up-to-the minute information follow Rosie-in-Stitches facebook page.

Cash for the Community

Our charity was chosen as one of the ten which will definitely be in the running for a share of £10,000. We received £250.

Annual General Meeting

During 2014 The Friends of the Rosie spent £13,000 on audio doppler pockets, suturing bed and furniture for the Daphne ward and Charles Wolfson ward refurbishment. Our income from the tea bar, Rosie in Stitches, Give as You Earn, membership fees and donations was £6,231.22.

The Friends have been asked to contribute towards the purchase of a hoist so that women with special needs can make use of the new birthing pool in the Delivery Unit.
